The centre-half sat out the 2-1 weekend defeat by Rotherham following his exertions for Wales Under-21s in midweek.

"He played 90 minutes on Wednesday night and his hamstrings were tight on Thursday and Friday," said Town boss Richie Barker.

"It was a tough game for him, they were 4-0 down at half-time so he obviously did a lot of defending, and it was a late night with a long journey back so he was a bit tired.

"I felt with the nature of the game and the way they were going to play it might have been a bit much for him."
