Heath penned his first professional contract with the Saddlers this summer and is hoping to gain regular first-team football.

"I'm really looking forward to the opportunity of getting some competitive action under my belt," Heath told the club's official website.

"I know that it is a physical league, but the experience will only benefit me.

"It will be my first taste of 'proper' league action, so it's a chance for me to make my mark and show the gaffer (Dean Smith) what I can do.

"I'm sure I will come back a better player from this, so it can only be a good move for me."
