The 23-year-old summer signing from Bury, started the Millers' opening game of the season at Crewe, but dropped to the bench for their next three matches.

However, he made a match-winning impact on Saturday as he came on and scored the decisive goal in a 2-1 success at Crawley which gave Steve Evans' men their first league win of the campaign.

While admitting he wants to play every game, Worrall knows he has to be patient for a spot in Evans' starting XI.

"It has been going alright for me, coming on and scoring the winner at Crawley was great," he said.

"I have not come here thinking I am going to walk straight into the team and play. I know the quality of the lads. But I am training hard and getting to know how the lads want it and how the gaffer wants me to play, so it's just week by week.

"Then hopefully I can start getting better and get in there with more starts.

"I would prefer to be playing full games, obviously, but I know League One, it's not about individuals, it's all about the team. I'm delighted to be here and part of the team and I'm fully behind the lads and the gaffer knows that."
