The two sides will meet for the first time in league action since March 2004 when they clash at Valley Parade on Saturday, while the Bantams' last league win over the Blades was at Bramall Lane in 1988.

"When we won promotion we eagerly awaited the fixtures and Sheffield United at home was one that we looked out for," Parkinson said.

"We had the Capital One Cup run and the play-offs last season, but that's behind us now and this is a Yorkshire derby in League One and it's a great game to be involved in.

"There will be a cracking crowd and it's a game we're very much looking forward to."

Striker James Hanson (hand) and winger Mark Yeates (knee) are both fitness concerns ahead of the match.

Parkinson added: "James is getting better all the time and Mark joined in for some of the training on Thursday.

"So we'll make sure we pick the right team and make the right call to make sure we've got 11 fully fit players out there because we're going to need that against Sheffield United."

I

s it the same people that complain about Chelsea that complain about Mayweather? You should by now know what to expect from both, if you can't appreciate how good they are at nullifying their opponents then don't watch them.

I

do concede though, that getting rid of Luiz has made them less entertaining. In the same way that driving with both eyes open is less exciting, but probably a good idea.
