The O's have enjoyed their best ever start to a season and are now closing in on the club record of 10 straight wins set 57 years ago.

"At the moment the games are coming thick and fast which is brilliant for us," said defender Clarke.

"Training is really high intensity. It's a good bunch of lads - a close-knit group. It's enjoyable every day.

"The confidence has gone from day one of pre-season. The confidence of the lads has been fantastic.

"Walsall is a massive game for us - because it is the next game. If we can break another record then so be it.

"We'll be looking at their strengths and weaknesses again. They'll have done their homework and known the form that we're in. They'll have to be wary of certain players."
