Spence played 12 games for Karl Robinson's side in his first spell at stadium:mk earlier this season, the last of which was a goalless home draw with Colchester on New Year's Day.

The versatile 23-year-old, who can play at right-back or centre-back, is expected to go straight into the squad for the Dons' Sky Bet League One fixture at home to Tranmere on Saturday.

The move sees Spence once again link up with former Hammers winger Luke Chadwick at the Milton Keynes club, where the first-choice goalkeeper is David Martin - son of West Ham great Alvin Martin.

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
