McQuilkin: Happy at Kidderminster

The 23-year-old, who is currently on a one-month deal with Harriers, believes he has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at his parent club due to the Bulls' lowly league position.

Hereford are currently just three points above the npower League Two relegation zone, and McQuilkin told Kidderminster's official website: "As a footballer you just want to play as often as you can and, unfortunately, this season I haven't featured as much as I would have liked there so I knew I had to look at other opportunities to play and this is a place I've been able to do that.

"The way we were playing probably didn't suit my style because we were right down there near the bottom of the league and in many games were scrapping just to get something.

"They said I wouldn't fit into the way they had to play and Kidderminster is a club that gets the ball down and plays and that really fits me."

his is for the best, his hunger would be in serious question now after winning everything with us. A true Chelsea legend, up there with Osgood and Zola, come back and see us now and then Didier. And as Martin Tyler said on Saturday night....he is immortal at Chelsea. What a way to go out eh....Good luck big man wherever you land next.

ne of the many delights of the final few seconds of the season was seeing little Mike Owen with his trackie off and full replica kit on, getting ready to celebrate having contributed NOTHING all season. Would have been on a par with Terry's carry-on in Munich.
