Hall: Hunting more goals

The winger scored the winner at Roots Hall in a 2-1 triumph when the two sides met on November 5, before then bagging the only goal of the game in a feisty Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash at the Kassam Stadium just three days later.

The Shrimpers go head-to-head against the U's this weekend in a crucial clash for both sides' promotion hopes and Hall is aiming to prove the difference again.

"I have done quite well in matches against Oxford already this season and hopefully I can do the same at the weekend," Hall told the Echo.

"It's certainly what I will be aiming to do because I haven't scored for three or four games now.

"This is a really important match as well, with both teams having plenty to play for, so we really want to go there and get the three points if we are to stay in with a chance of finishing in the top three."
