The Gulls head to Hereford knowing they need to better Crawley's result at Accrington to snatch the final automatic promotion spot.

"It will be some game, with them fighting against relegation and us going for promotion," Ling told the club website.

"I know I'd rather be the Torquay manager than the Hereford manager going into the game.

"We will get ourselves lifted and ready to go for next week. I have no doubt my players will be ready for the fight."
