Holdsworth is wasting little time as he looks to strengthen a squad which finished 11th in League Two this season, with loanees Sonny Bradley and Troy Brown, from Hull and Rotherham respectively, understood to be high on his list of transfer targets.
"There's nothing concrete," Holdsworth told gethampshire. "I'm 95 per cent sure of getting two new players in for next week but until it's signed and sealed then there's nothing I can add."
As well as focusing his efforts on new signings, Holdsworth still has contractual issues to finalise with players approaching the end of their terms at the Recreation Ground.
He added: "I'm still waiting on answers from a few members of the current squad but I've got a good indication of who will be staying and who won't."
Meanwhile, Shots have announced a home pre-season friendly against Hampshire rivals Portsmouth on Wednesday August 1.
