Baker: Has respect for Robins

Baker: Has respect for Robins

Alex beat the Robins 1-0 twice this season, the latter victory the sole blotch on their opponents' current run of five wins in six outings.

A club-record streak of 18 unbeaten games steered the Railwaymen to Wembley, but Baker is expecting a tough encounter against a side he holds in the highest regard

"When I saw them at Burton early in the season I thought they were the best team in the league.

"We've had two close games against them, but we couldn't have faced a harder game. When you look at (losing play-off semi-finalists) Torquay and Southend, I think Cheltenham are better than both of them.

"They've come on a good run and so have we, so we probably are the form teams. They're a big, strong side that have got pace and power and got some good players. It's going to be a good game, I'm pretty sure about that."

adly this is inevitable. No club outside the top 4/5 can hang on to anyone who shows that kind of talent anymore. Might be best for them to get as much as they can now while his stock is high and start again. On the plus side lads, Grant Holt is still available.
