Bentley: Happy to give talented duo a chance

Boss Jim Bentley will add left-back Short, 18, and centre-half Doyle, 17, to his squad for the 2012/13 season after they impressed in the reserves.

Bentley told the club's official website: "Both lads have been regulars in the reserves and impressed myself and Stewart Drummond with their performances and their attitudes and I am delighted to be able to give them a chance.

"They are players who I think have a good future ahead of them and I hope they go on to be first-team regulars here for a long time to come."
