Wanderers travel to newly promoted York City on the opening day before ties against Gillingham, Bristol Rovers and Southend.

"I'm very excited as I've never played at Bootham Crescent before and it's something to look forward to," he told his club's official website.

"It's a tough start and I think this season League Two is going to be as competitive as it's ever been since I joined Wycombe.

"There aren't many weak teams in the division and a lot will have aspirations of finishing in the top seven.

"Every team is capable of beating each other and it's those that put the best runs together that will challenge at the right end of the table."
