The Dons have collected six points from the four games since Terry Brown was sacked last month, and with the club due to appoint a new manager this week, Saturday's 2-1 win at Plymouth looks like being Bassey's last at the helm.

"We have taken six points out of 12 and that is not too bad," said Bassey.

"I thought we should have got more if I am honest, but if that was my last game in charge, then I have enjoyed every minute of it.

"Whatever happens from here I will continue to give my best for the club.

"The response I have had from the boys has been fantastic and I could not have asked for anything more from them. They are a cracking group."
