Fletcher: Disappointed with bad luck

Argyle had an effort cleared off the line in Saturday's League Two clash at home to Chesterfield and hit the bar in the first half. They also had a penalty appeal turned down after substitute Joe Lennox's cross appeared to be handled by a Chesterfield player.

Despite being under the cosh for most of the match at Home Park, the Spireites came away with the points after Marc Richards smashed the winner in the 66th minute.

Fletcher rued: "I know I sound like a broken record but again we have dominated the game in every sense - chances, attempts at goals, possession and corners - but it just didn't bounce for us again.

"It seems to be the way we are going. All the hard work we put in just isn't coming of for us. We should have had a penalty in the second half but the ref didn't see that one and it's tough to take really because the lads are working so hard for one another.

"The bonus is they are working hard for one another, the down side obviously is not that we are getting the results."
