West Ham winger Turgott and Newcastle's Australian defender Good, both 19, made their debuts for Bradford in the home FA Cup draw with Brentford, and Parkinson is grateful to their respective managers Sam Allardyce and Alan Pardew.
"We've been very pleased with them," said Parkinson. "They're two players I'd obviously seen playing for their teams at West Ham and Newcastle, but the step up to first-team football is a large leap from where they were in terms of intensity of game.
"But I thought they both handled it really well and it's a bonus to all the staff and the team that we've seen two players there that looked like they'll be able to cope with first-team football and make contributions for the next month while they're here."
Parkinson has recently lost both central defenders Luke Oliver (Achilles) and Andrew Davies (knee) to season-ending injuries. Replacement loanee John Egan returned to parent club Sunderland after breaking his leg in his fourth game for the club, and wingers Kyle Reid (groin) and Zavon Hines (ankle) have been sidelined long term.
Parkinson added: "It's great experience for them and it's great for the clubs to help us out with players because both managers were great about it.
"Both Alan Pardew and Sam Allardyce want their younger players to get experience and they have helped us financially with the deals because they realise it benefits their players. They're great deals for us."
