The forward, 22, has scored once in four starts for the Spotland outfit, where his loan spell expires after Saturday's League Two meeting with Exeter.

"Terry has done well for us and we will be asking Shrewsbury if we can extend his loan here," Bell told the Shropshire Star.

"His last game is the Exeter game on Saturday, but we'd like him to stay on as he's a smashing lad. John (Coleman) and I have had him before at Accrington so we know all about him."
