McCoy: Expects further improvement

The Chairboys, now unbeaten in four games, have been without an entire first 11 at times this season but have welcomed back a number of players recently - including McCoy who had been sidelined since August.

And with Gary Doherty and Anthony Stewart set to return to training this week, McCoy believes the only way is up for a side now five points clear of the relegation zone.

"We are down there at the bottom of the league but we don't deserve to be there, we've had a lot of injuries this season," he said.

"More and more players are coming back and I think the results are showing that. We are getting a stronger 11 and starting to prove ourselves in the league.

"There is now a lot of competition and we've got a lot of good players and a lot of good players in the treatment room.

"As they come back it will be even more healthy for the club and hopefully we can move onwards and upwards."

t the start of the season, after the RVP transfer, I confidently claimed that Arsenal would finish above United. I now regret it immensely.

aniel Storey generally did very well, going against the City won it last year so they're bound to win it this time grain. As for John Nicholson, I wouldn't trust him to predict correctly what day of the week it will be tomorrow.
