The Cobblers have now been defeated in three outings on the bounce in all competitions.

But Tozer insists the attitude in the changing room is not laced with blame, and told the Northampton Chronicle: "We've got a very honest group. Nobody points the finger, they just take the blame and don't say it was anyone else's fault.

"Joe Widdowson put his hand up for the second goal and said that it was his man and he was sorry.

"We've got people like that in the changing room who can take the blame, so there was no effing and blinding or anything like that. It was just a structured conversation."

haos reached its ultimate reckoning last weekend with Tony Hibbert looking assured at left back and Osman looking like a cultured ball playing midfielder before busting a gut to get to the back post for a Samuel Eto'o ball. Different chaos but chaos. If Kone scores the winner tonight I fear the world will end.
