Hussey: Keen to make telling contribution

The 23-year-old full-back departed the Ricoh Arena just over three years after he originally left Kingsmeadow to join the Sky Blues.

He told the Dons' website: "I could not wait to come home. I could have gone to a higher-level club and stayed in League One, but I wanted to come back to Wimbledon.

"Last season I played a lot of games at Coventry and after my experiences there I come back as a better player.

"I am a professional though and I want to play games. I enjoyed my time at Wimbledon last time and it is big club with great fans.

"I want to help get this club back where it belongs as it should not be near the bottom of League Two."
