Redshaw came off the bench to bag a brace for the Shrimps in Saturday's 4-1 win at York, moving the former Manchester City youngster to 10 goals for the season.

Manager Jim Bentley told his club's official website: "We have been keen to sign Jack again for some time and I am delighted that he has agreed to join us for another year.

"He is a great lad and a great player and will continue to develop with us over the next 12 months."

I

think all those names linked to United exits make sense. Kagawa has never really looked like hitting the form he had at Dortmund and Fellaini is radioactive after last season (even though I think he's been unfairly singled out for criticism). Nani and Anderson have had more than their fair share of chances so they are done, and Hernandez deserves better than warming a bench.
