Andy Iro: Worked under former Holland international Aron Winter

Former Holland, Juventus and Barcelona midfielder Davids stunned English football when he took over at the struggling League Two club in October.

The Bees were adrift at the foot of the table and had not won any of their first 11 games when 39-year-old Davids arrived but he has guided them to seven victories, as well as putting in some handy displays in midfield, to give them every chance of beating the drop.

But Iro, currently on loan from Stevenage, has seen it all before having been coached by another Dutch legend while playing in the MLS.

"I'm pretty familiar with Dutch methods because Aron Winter, one of Holland's most-capped players, was my coach at Toronto," he said.

"The way the Dutch see the game and the way they interact is different.

"But Edgar wants to win, and that's something Barnet have struggled with for a few years. Now at least we are all on the same page. While I am here I hope I can help them achieve that goal."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
