The Cobblers recalled Wilson, 20, from his second loan spell at Kettering ahead of schedule on Monday, with manager Aidy Boothroyd keen to see the player play at a higher level.

Wilson will go straight into the squad for Bishop's Stortford's home fixture against Harrogate Town on Tuesday.

Wilson scored nine goals for Kettering. His first stint with the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division side proved the most fruitful as he netted eight times during the Poppies' best run of form this season during December.
