The 20-year-old, who can also play at left-back, joins on a deal until the end of the season and quickly follows fellow new arrivals Jonathan Miles, Peter Gilbert and Jonathan Fortune.

Sharif is the fifth new face at Victoria Road in total this week after the capture of Barnsley winger Toni Silva.

Daggers interim manager Wayne Burnett told the club's official website: "We have watched Mo play and were very impressed with him, he is a player who is held in high regard at QPR."
