The veteran defender has been at Home Park on a short-term contract since January and has made 15 appearances as Argyle battle for their Football League lives.

The 34-year-old, who has made 27 moves during his career, is out of contract in the summer and would love to stay at the club.

But he is prepared to wait until Argyle's fate is decided.

"I understand the situation I am in and I am thankful for being given the opportunity," he said. "I am the first one to know football so I am planning to use the games to showcase myself and prove that I want to be here.

"If the gaffer doesn't want me here, then it's up to him. Luckily at the minute, I'm playing every week. When the gaffer gives me the call, I'm happy to talk about it.

"I'm only thinking about the football at the moment, after the season I will start thinking about contracts. The gaffer has been great with me and I hope I repaying him on the pitch."
