The Bantams notched their fourth victory in an unbeaten run of five matches, which has hauled them up into seventh place in League Two.

Parkinson's side are running into form at just the right time, and after Tuesday night's win at Valley Parade, the manager said: "We started really well and got them on the back foot from the first whistle.

"That's something we spoke about before the game. We looked as if we could score every time we got the ball, which is a great sign.

"You feel there are goals in the team and the lads are playing full of confidence.

"It is all about momentum, but we need to keep the lads' feet on the floor. There is a lot of work to do and it's our job to give them enough time to recover so they can produce more performances like this.

"We haven't really mentioned the play-offs. We've got to concentrate on performing well in each game.

"At the moment, we're feeling confident and that bodes well for the remaining games of the season."

Parkinson had special praise for leading scorer Nahki Wells, whose two goals took his tally to 21 for the season.

"Nahki is full of confidence again," he added. "He has had a good break and is fresh again. He's full of confidence in everything he does, inside and outside the box."

terling needs to be told though that upon entering the Arsenal squad he will re-enact the final scene from Highlander where he will be thrown around a warehouse by cartoon dragons and then be a mere mortal that will only ever spend three to four weeks a season playing football and the rest on the physio's bed. There can be only one.....player available at The Emirates.

he game changed in our favour when Carrick came on. We were able to play further up the pitch due to having a player who can give and go with the ball and keep possession. Yet barkley made some runs and Townsend scored a good goal but carrick's inclusion and chiellini's withdrawal made the biggest difference to the flow of the game

o, you've not silenced anyone Andros, i'm afraid. We know you can score a great goal, and it's really handy to have your direct running and willingness to shoot on the bench. But until you can do the other things expected of a winger (beat the man, put a decent cross in, stay wide etc) then you can't expect more than a regular cameo. Wonderful goal though, what a hit! No wonder Buffon wanted the shirt.
