The 25-year-old arrived at Highbury Stadium in January on a short-term deal but the midfielder proved his worth in 16 appearances and will now stay at the League Two club until 2015.

He said: "I'm delighted to finally put pen to paper after what seems a long process.

"It really is worth the wait because I already know what Fleetwood Town is all about. I really wanted to stay here and I'm glad I have the next two years here working under the manager."
