The 20-year-old made 37 appearances during his first full season with the Pirates after making a permanent move from Leicester last summer.

"I am delighted," he told the club's official website. "I am glad to have signed another year and be back in training.

"We have to train hard and take all our hard work in to the season.

"I am happy here and I want to kick on with this club and hopefully do well next season. The gaffer has given me a chance and hopefully I can take it this season."
