Billy Kee gave the hosts the lead only for Deon Burton and Niall Canavan to put the Iron in front with quickfire goals after the break.

But Robbie Weir headed the Brewers level in the 62nd minute to end a run of three successive defeats.

Laws said: "It was a real new test for us because that's the first time this season we've conceded the first goal in a game.

"It made us little nervy for a while but I thought we responded in the right manner and came out like a house on fire in the second half.

"I thought we started the game brightly but once they got the goal we gave the ball away cheaply which caused its own problems.

"There was also a couple of thunderbolts in losing Eddie Nolan and Etienne Esajas with injuries in the first half.

"But to get two goals back so quickly after half time was a fantastic and a great recovery."
