Hutchinson, 25, who has scored two goals for the Stags this season, suffered the injury during the league defeat at Southend last Friday.

"Ben picked up the injury in the Southend game and it was part of the reason why we brought him off," said Mansfield manager Paul Cox.

"He's going to be a big miss, but it (his absence) opens doors up for others.

"We've got players at the football club who can come in and do a good job."
