Aidy White: Keen to impress against Chelsea

Leeds and Chelsea have been paired together for a December 19th showdown at Elland Road - the first time the old foes will have met since United's final game as a Premier League team in 2004.

Their stock may have fallen a little since then, but Leeds have maintained a good cup pedigree, having beaten Manchester United, Tottenham, Everton and Southampton over recent seasons.

Beating the reigning European club champions would be another major scalp, but White prefers to see the daunting task as an opportunity.

"Of course it is a difficult draw, but you don't get chances like this all the time," he said. "It's a chance for us, we can go out and perform. We've done it before against a lot of the big teams.

"It will be difficult if they perform at their best, but we are confident of doing it. For now, though, we will be concentrating on the league."
