Neil Warnock: Has not accepted penalty

Warnock was furious that referee Mark Halsey dismissed Luke Varney three minutes into the second half for an apparent elbow on Adam Smith earlier this month.

However, he has not accepted the standard penalty for the offence and has requested a paper hearing, which means he will not be required to attend.

A statement on the FA's website read: "Neil Warnock has accepted an FA charge for a breach of FA Rule E3 in relation to improper conduct following his side's game at Millwall on 18 November 2012.

"The Leeds United manager has, however, not accepted the standard penalty 1 for the breach and requested a paper hearing."
