Neil Warnock: Fair result

Steve Morison and Glenn Murray bagged a brace apiece as the two sides shared the spoils, denying Warnock's former club the chance to move into the automatic promotion places.

However, Warnock disagreed with Palace counterpart Ian Holloway's claims that Leeds should have had two players sent off during the match.

Luke Varney was one of those Holloway felt should have been given his marching orders after he escaped a booking for a foul on Johnnie Williams but was shown a yellow card for a dive shortly after.

"Palace are a good team, I hope they go up," said Warnock. "But I don't see Holloway complaining with a couple of decisions in the first half.

"They're used to winning here but they didn't deserve to win today.

"Varney didn't have to dive, but in the first half he got fouled - but no free-kick. I don't condone that (diving) though."

He reserved special praise for his goalscorer, adding: "I think Morison has been good since he's been here, it's what he puts into the team. He's a team player."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
