Jamie Vardy: Scored equaliser

Vardy's leveller ended a nine-game drought for the former Fleetwood striker, but it was not enough to prevent the Foxes from slipping to fifth in the npower Championship table.

Vardy was pleased to rescue a point for his side but felt they had dropped two points against Keith Hill's strugglers.

He told the Leicester Mercury: "We are disappointed to drop a couple of points.

"We thought we could get the winner and their keeper pulled off a few good saves, cleared a couple off the line, but these things happen in football.

"We were disappointed not to get the three points, but at least we didn't lose.

"We are still up there. We managed to get a point and that keeps us nicely in there with a gap to Watford."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
