Crystal Palace goalkeeper Lewis Price and midfield duo Owain Tudur Jones of Hibernian and Manchester City's Emyr Huws have been called up following a spate of withdrawals from Coleman's original party.

Coleman, who drafted in West Ham defender Jack Collison on Tuesday, had seen his numbers cut for the final international of the year after Andrew Crofts of Brighton pulled out with a groin problem.

And he was joined on the sidelines by Boaz Myhill of West Brom and Sunderland's David Vaughan, who are struggling with Achilles and hamstring problems, respectively.

But Coleman was handed a timely boost by the appearance of Real Madrid's Gareth Bale and Arsenal's in-form Aaron Ramsey, who reported fully fit with the remainder of the squad at the team's Cardiff base.

You can keep up to date with the action from the Cardiff City Stadium live on Sky Sports 2 from 5.45pm this Saturday

resumably, you wanted to keep the version of Downing that was never seen at Anfield. The one that another manager has managed to re-create. The one you passed over.
