Recent weeks have seen Garcia linked with Rafa Benitez's Napoli and also with a move back to his former club Benfica in a possible exchange for Nemanja Matic.

However, speaking to Radio Renascenca in Portugal, his representative Manuel Garcia Quilon said: "Javi Garcia to Lisbon? We do not have any news about this.

"The player liked his time in Lisbon and how he progressed as a player but he is now at Manchester City.

"Not for one moment have we even looked at the possibility [of him leaving] because he is very happy in England, with City and fighting for titles."

Garcia has featured 14 times in the league for City this season, starting in six of those games.

In none momento have studyed the possibility because is very happy in England and City is figthing by all the titles"
