Toure: I am staying with City......until he walks into the changing room toilets, and finds no paper on the loo role holder. I won't blame him, if the club can't keep the loo-role holders fully stocked with soft creamy, gold embossed 'we love ya Yaya' paper....then what's the point in going on living, let alone playing football for such a 'shi*ty' club...or even 'man shi*ty' which is no doubt what he'll be calling the club, in his emotional and crying exit interview !

FFP isn't perfect but it seems to be having an effect e.g. it's supposedly the reason PSG haven't scooped up Di Maria yet. Clubs are having to sell to buy.

@bobsy (Liverpool)> What about Pool fans? What do you believe in, now that Chewy Suarez has left you for Barca?

Arsenal fans were clinging to FFP, then Wenger opened his wallet and they ended up with Ozil and Sanchez. Don't think they will be as bothered by FFP anymore, especially as its become clear that FFP is a farce.

Jay_D> Yes massive squad restrictions would have helped and restricting Shiekhy from 25 to 21 players would have been HUGE. Sadly Platini probably got some additional cash wired to his account and they reduced the number of homegrown players Sheikhy would have to register, which meant all Shiekhy lost was registering some home grown youth players who would never play a single minute of football in the CL.

'People love me'. Yaya, your real friends and family loves you. Football fans (of any club) don't love you, they love the glory and joy you might bring them by making their club successful. They don't love you. So stop kidding yourself.

Synergy, FFP is clearly a racket (I wouldn't ban teams but massive squad restrictions and wage caps would work a lot better than fining billionaires) but I think PSG do have to sell before they can buy again. In any event they were clearly unhappy. They and Man city really thought they'd completely get away with it.

He made his power play to try and get Sheikhy to raise his wages or trade him to PSG. PSG were probably not interested and he is stuck with no cake and no vacation. @Jay_D> Surely you jest about FFP being real, right? All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it serious and ban PSG and Sheikhy from the CL, they didn't.
