The Sunday lunchtime clash sees the Premier League's joint top-scorers go head to head with Robin van Persie and Michu having bagged a dozen goals apiece so far this campaign.
Two million pound man Michu's strike-rate has been remarkable, particularly considering he is a midfielder as opposed to an out-and-out striker like Van Persie, whom United paid £24million to bring to Old Trafford.
But Vorm believes the all-round game of his Dutch international team-mate marks him out as the best frontman in England.
Vorm, set to feature for the Swans after eight weeks out with a groin injury, said: "I think he is the best striker in the Premier League. Not just because he has scored 12 goals but because he is a team player. If you watch him his technique is unbelievable but he also works hard.
"Last season I think he was the player who covered the most ground in the Premier League as a striker and he scored 30 goals.
"Last season was his best season but he has a new club now and he looks like he has been there for years. He is 29 and at his peak and at the moment I think he is the best.
"He is so clever, when you train with players like that it is hard to read their game.
"With his technique he can shoot with both feet or he can backheel; he is very skilful.
"I never forget the game here against Arsenal last season where he scored the first goal.
"It was a narrow angle, he went to shoot with his right foot but then he dummied and he scored, I couldn't believe it. You can't read him and that is quality. You have to be on top of your game against him."
While Gerhard Tremmell deputised admirably for Vorm during the former Utrecht man's enforced two-month lay-off, Swans boss Michael Laudrup will be glad to have his first-choice available to try and halt Van Persie and company.
And the man himself admitted he found it agonising having to sit on the sidelines.
"Watching is not for me," he said.
"You can ask my wife, I get so stressed out in the stands or watching on TV.
"But it's always like that and now I know how my mother feels when she watches me. She doesn't go to the stadium because she cannot stand to watch.
"You can't do anything you have to watch. Now I know how a fan feels watching when they are screaming, crying or whatever.
"We did well while I was out which was good. Of course you would rather play, but if we had lost six games or something it would be much harder to come back in but at the moment it's a joy to watch."
United won 1-0 in south Wales last season, but Vorm believes they will be apprehensive about facing a side that have already taken points of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea this season.
"I am sure they don't like to come here, especially with the form we are in and the confidence we have at home. It is not an easy game for them," he said.
"We lost 1-0 last season but they know Swansea away is going to be tough.
"We have to be very good of course but at home I think we have the chance to beat anybody."
