m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

Carrick is a good player but thats about it. United are coasting in the league and when they coast Carrick looks like a player. But when united are under pressure he doesnt have the legs or bravery on the ball that is required by a great player. He is good but no more than that. Seems like a nice bloke alright though

Carrick's performances for the last couple of years have been masively underplayed. He is a huge influence on United's style of play and though he isn't a superstar or a regular goalscorer, you can really see the difference when he isn't in the side. His passing and reading of the game is superb - he must be one of the first names on Fergie's team sheet every week. An oustanding player and a nice bloke. Top man.
