It reads like he's saying he'll never pay the £6 subscription fee.

Why would he step down to a role at United? You don't go asking David Moyes if he fancies managing Sunderland, so why ask Mourinho a similarly insulting question?

Slow news day? I seriously doubt Jose would want it to be honest. The job could easily become a poison chalice and it will take a very brave man to step into Fergies shoes after all he has achieved, he will be one hard act to follow.

With Mourinho declaring himself out of the running for the Man Utd job, Phil Brown and Alan Curbishley will sleep a little easier between now and when Sir Alex Ferguson retires

I think he knows that being perceived as campaigning for the job won't go down well, particularly while Fergie's still going strong. It would also make him look a bit of a tit if he mentioned it all the time and then the gig went to Guardiola/Moyes/Solskjaer. Why he would want the United job anyway is baffling. It'll be the hardest act to follow in football history.

I

m curious as to what image Real Madrid are trying to re-establish as I always thought their pre-Jose image was one of a bunch of a classless bullies tapping up whoever they wanted while living it large on borrowed money they're never going to pay back.
