Despite having been in Turkey for less than a year, it has been suggested that the Holland international could be on the move in successive January transfer windows.

Links to the likes of the Manchester United refuse to go away, with the Dutchman known to have been a target for the Red Devils in the past.

Manchester United remain in the market for creative talent in the middle of the park, and Sneijder's experience and ability would make him appealing to any top club.

The 29-year-old is, however, keen to point out that no approach has been made as yet and has reiterated that he will not be drawn into a debate regarding his future until there is something to discuss.

Sneijder told Beyaz TV: "You would know better than me if I received any offers. Up to now there are no offers.

"There are rumours about me in every transfer window. I look forward to the end of transfer windows so people stop talking about me.

"I'm very happy here with the team and the fans and I have no reason to leave.

"This type of news always happens. You just need to wait until the end of the window."

Sneijder has also been looking ahead to Galatasaray's showdown with Chelsea and his former Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho in the last-16 of the UEFA Champions League.

He said: "They'll be two good games.

"We deserve to be where we are in Europe. This success is very important for the club, the supporters and the team.

"Now we want to go even further. We really have to believe in ourselves to get to the quarter-finals. If we are all focused, we have a real chance."

sn'tthis strange. Last season we were worried that we were stuck with a Dinosaur in Moyes while Liverpool and Everton were disappearing into the distance with their young, spritely managerts, playing football from heaven. Progressive managers, they said. Managers who understand the modern game.........

ood list, some crackers in there. For me, I'd have had Steve McManaman for Liverpool away at Celtic in the UEFA cup in 1997. I was in the ground that night and everyone kept screaming at him to make a pass, but he just kept going and going and going...brilliant, and in the dying minutes too.
