The Terriers took the lead at the Galpharm Stadium courtesy of a headed goal by veteran Andy Booth in the 30th minute.

And they seemed to be cruising until some sloppy defending allowed Rowe to slot home the equaliser in first-half added time after good work from full-back Johnny Mullins.

And it was the visitors who almost snatched all three points as Carl Baker was denied the winner when Matt Glennon pulled off a terrific save.

Huddersfield, who gave debuts to six of their seven new signings, were the better side in the first half and striker Danny Cadamarteri forced 'keeper Owain Fon Williams to make a smart save in the 23rd minute.
