The on-loan Preston winger was given his marching orders with 28 minutes left when he tangled with Nathan Jones, just a few moments after being booked for a foul on the same player.

Paul Warne had earlier gone close to giving Yeovil a lead from 12 yards but Brighton went ahead after 77 minutes when Andre McCollin was adjudged to have handled and Nicky Forster finished from the spot.

The lead lasted just three minutes, however, as Darren Way rifled home from 25 yards to secure a share of the spoils.

Yeovil's Gavin Tomlin drilled a left-footed shot over the bar late on but neither side could find a winner.
