The on-loan Port Vale frontman struck in the 75th minute to cancel out Ashley Vincent's excellent first-half opener.

Although the home side did most of the attacking Cheltenham defended well and deservedly stretched their unbeaten run to six games in all competitions.

The Robins took the lead three minutes before the interval when a long clearance was cleverly flicked on by Barry Hayles and Ashley Vincent cut in from the right before firing the ball in off the far post.

For a long time it seemed Vincent's goal would prove decisive but with 15 minutes remaining Yeovil substitute Andy Walsh got clear on the left and provided a perfect cross for Rodgers to head in.
