Morecambe were the better team in the first half of Saturday's League Two clash at St James Park and took a deserved lead when Michael Twiss delivered the perfect free-kick into the heart of the Exeter penalty box and Stewart Drummond thumped in a header.

Inside four minutes of the second period, Exeter had equalised as Dean Moxey played a superb one-two with Stuart Fleetwood and rounded Roache before rolling the ball into an empty net.

Then after 53 minutes, Logan did well before playing the ball wide to Ryan Harley and he cut in from the left flank before drilling a low shot inside Roche's upright.

Both teams had a goal disallowed in an end-to-end encounter, but with 11 minutes remaining Drummond grabbed the equaliser when he diverted another Twiss free-kick past Jones.
