The lively winger cut in from the right after 35 minutes of Saturday's League Two clash at Meadow Lane to unleash an unstoppable shot past Kevin Pilkington for his 14th of the campaign.

The Daggers' second - 10 minutes later - was equally impressive. Matt Ritchie ran at the County defensive line unchallenged before finding the top corner from 25 yards.

It was a bitter pill for the Magpies who had spurned earlier opportunities. Richard Butcher saw his one-on-one saved, Delroy Facey had his header cleared off the line by Magnus Okuonghae, while John Thompson wasted a free header in the box.

They continued to search for a way back into the game after the interval. Gavin Strachan forced David Button into a fingertip save but Dagenham killed the contest off with a third, Ritchie's edge of the area shot going straight through Pilkington.

County defender Mike Edwards came the closest for a way back but saw his close-range stab at goal hit Button's legs.
