Centre-back Karleigh Osborne put the Bees ahead after 73 minutes by heading home Glenn Poole's free-kick from close range.

And Midfielder Adam Newton sealed it in the dying minutes with a superb curling shot from 15 yards.

On-loan striker Billy Clarke could have opened the scoring in the first half at the end of a four-man move for the Bees, but his low drive was saved by Dean Brill.

Luton rarely threatened in their final game in the league before dropping into the Blue Square Premier, with George Pilkington coming closest when he headed straight at the keeper Ben Hamer.
