The win was the seventh consecutive pre-season triumph for Simon Davey's men, who were set on their way when Foster headed home Hugo Colace's corner after 31 minutes.

Macken latched onto Jacob Butterfield's through ball after an hour to slot past substitute Simon Eastwood in the Bantams goal.

Next up for the Tykes are Macken's former club Manchester City at Oakwell on August 1.
