Collins: Suspended for Town

Collins was dismissed for violent conduct in the opening-day draw at Southend and will miss the next three matches through suspension.

Tom Clarke, who stepped off the bench at Roots Hall, and James Berrett, an unused substitute, may both come into contention.

Midfielder Jim Goodwin is still unavailable following his exploratory knee operation, but manager Lee Clark has several options available elsewhere, with defender Nathan Clarke and Lionel Ainsworth hoping to feature and strikers Lee Novak and Jordan Rhodes both making a big impact after stepping off the bench at Southend.

Huddersfield beat Bradford 4-0 in the first round of the competition last season, but lost out at home to Sheffield United in round two.
