The full-back, on loan from Nottingham Forest, is rated 50-50 by City boss Peter Jackson after suffering a knock in the Imps' opening League Two fixture against Barnet on Saturday.

Captain Scott Kerr will remain sidelined. The midfielder was unable to take part in Lincoln's pre-season matches due to a knee injury but he could come into contention when the Imps return to league action at Accrington at the weekend.

Right-back Paul Green remains a long-term absentee as he continues to recover from a hip operation while young striker Lenell John-Lewis is also out.

Lincoln have not progressed to the second round of the League Cup since defeating Crewe 5-1 in 2005.
